bold(h)er ("we", "us") is a private community for women leaders in mobile, gaming, and AI. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we protect it, and the rights you have under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK, Law No. 6698) and, where applicable, the GDPR.
1. Who is responsible for your data
bold(h)er is the data controller for the personal data described here. For any question about this policy or your data, contact us at hello@boldher.co.
2. What we collect
We only collect what you choose to share with us, mainly through our contact form:
- Identity & contact details: your name, email address, phone number, and LinkedIn profile.
- Your message: what you tell us about yourself, your work, and why you're reaching out.
- Reason for contact: whether you want to join, partner, speak, or something else.
If you take part in an event we organise, we may also process attendance information you provide to us or to the event's partner.
3. Why we use it and our legal basis
- To respond to you and review membership requests: based on taking steps at your request and our legitimate interest in running the community (KVKK Art. 5).
- To organise and invite you to events: based on your request and your consent.
- To keep in touch about the community: based on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
We process your data only after you have given consent through the checkbox on our form, where consent is the applicable basis.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only where necessary:
- With service providers that help us operate, for example our email and form/hosting providers, acting on our instructions.
- With event partners, only where relevant to an event you have chosen to attend, and only to the extent needed.
Some of these providers may be located outside Türkiye. Where data is transferred abroad, we take the safeguards required by the KVKK.
5. How long we keep it
We keep your data only as long as needed for the purposes above, for as long as you are part of the community or in contact with us, and afterwards only where required by law. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.
6. Your rights under the KVKK
Under Article 11 of the KVKK, you have the right to:
- learn whether your data is processed, and request information about it;
- know the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly;
- request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data;
- request deletion or destruction of your data;
- object to processing and request that we stop;
- request that any correction or deletion be communicated to third parties we shared it with.

7. How we protect your data
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to keep your data secure and to limit access to those who need it.
8. Cookies
Our website is a simple, mostly static page and does not use tracking or advertising cookies. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where required.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page, with the date it was last updated.
